Tech/Engineering - SAP / IT
German term or phrase: ein gezielter Anstoß
This has been driving me mad. It's from a technical document that shows the functions of a software product that can be added on to SAP's systems.

Anstoß is often trigger in the SAP world, but putting "ein gezielter Anstoß zur dokumentenbasierten Prozesssteuerung" is proving to be tricky.

Can anyone think of an elegant way around this?

Thanks,

Joanne

\"approach\" is of course not really equivalent to \"Anstoß\" (more like \"Ansatz\", \"Vorgehensweise\") but then so be it ...

This was the one that fitted the IT context best. Strangely enough, I had thought of approach beforehand, so it was good to have that confirmed by someone else.

Thanks to everyone who helped.
