"Die Bank hat in großem Maße auf die Middleware eines auf Banken spezialisierten Anbieters gesetzt"

I'm having stupid probs trying to work out "auf die Middleware eines auf Banken.." part, would appreciate any suggestions/help - thanks!

By \"invested\" I don\'t just mean that they spent a lot of money in it. They have a lot hanging on it; i.e. if it doesn\'t work, they\'re stuffed.
