German term or phrase: Dodecatetraensäureisoburylamide
from a research paper about the effects of Echinacea
" Als potentielle Verbindungen erweisen sich die Dodecatetraensäureisoburylamide, die einen dualen Inhibitor der Cyclooxygenase und der 5-Lipoxygenase darstellen."
Any chemists out there?
Thanks for any help- I suspect the English will not much differ from the German(Latin), but would like to make sure where /how exactly the "acid" part fits in!
English translation:dodecatetraenoic acid isobutylamide
The dodeca refers to 12 C-atoms in the acid, the tetraenoic defines 4 double bonds.
See the website under alkylamide derivatives
PS: In German it should be "...butylamide" also.
