German term or phrase: LG
Hi folks.

I am translating a bunch of emails. At the end of some come "mfG" which I know.

At the end of others, where the 'mfG' should stand just before the 'signature,' is this "LG." Sometimes it is written as 'lg.'

WHAT does it stand for? "Liebe Gruesse" is the most obvious choice, but is it the right one?

I am grateful for any German texter who might have a clue ('cause *I* certainly don't!)

As long as the context doesn't suggest otherwise, I suspect you're right!
