ground strut Explanation: All SKT 350 Guardrail End Treatments shall be designed, manufactured and supplied by Road Systems, Incorporated (RSI) or a designated distributor. The SKT 350 is a tangent, energy absorbing system that shall consist of an impact head to sequentially kink the railing, standard 3.8m (12.5 ft) W-beam railing sections, a cable anchor bracket and cable assembly, timber wood posts & blocks, steel foundation tubes and a ground strut. The total length of the installed system shall be 15.25m (50 ft). A transition to gradually increase the stiffness in the W-beam shall be required if the SKT 350 is attached to a rigid barrier.
