German term or phrase: Projektierungsphase
-Projektierungsphase = trial demonstrations?
Context: "Firma XYZ hat nach einer Projektierungsphase bei Firma ABC nun den Auftrag erhalten."
-Armaturentafeln = dashboard? I'm used to the word "Armaturenbrett."
-Nutzfahrzeug = commercial vehicle?
-Linearkugelbestaende = I know the first two parts are "linear ball" but the "bestaende" part is throwing me off. I'm thinking "parts."

English translation:design phase
Explanation:
- at least that's what it's called by the consulting engineers I often work for.

The rest:

1) Armaturentafel:

"Tafel" is often "panel".

Eurodicautom says "instrument assembly", which I don't believe - they must mean an assembly of instruments, which could be correct - depending on the context - but isn't very handy.

LEO has "instrument panel", which at least makes sense, but Armatur can mean several things, among them "lighting fitting". A little context would bave been nice!

2) Nutzfahrzeug: utility vehicle

3) Linearkugelbestand:

linearkugel: linear ball - as you already know.

Bestand means something like the amount or number of something - so it could be "numbers of linear balls" if that makes sense in the context (Bestände is plural).

What you are thinking of is "Bestandteil(e)", which means "component(s)".

I hope this helps - good luck!
