German term or phrase: Prüfstand
Document is about the strategic development of leading car manufacturer. The area concerned is the technical services division and the relevant section is an overview of resources. There are many different types of Prüfstand listed.
Under the subheading of 45 Motorenprüfstände the following are listed:
1) Einzylinderprüfstände, 2) Transientprüfstände, 3) Wärmebilanzprüfstand, 4)Thermodynamikprüfstände, 5)Aggregateprüfstände, 6) Achsprüfstände, 7) Gelenkwellenprüfstände.
Can the same translation for Prüfstand be used in each case and I would be particularly interested in translations of numbers 5, 6 and 7.

English translation:addition
Explanation:
Just as an addition to the answers already given, as I have translated plenty of test stand proposals in the past: Each production line will have its own specific test stand designed to test the finished product for leakage and functionality etc. There is not one test stand capable of testing different products, but a different one for engines, for injectors, for gear boxes etc. However, a test stand can be adapted to test different variants of the same product.

test/testing/trial bed/bench/room

Explanation:
Here is what Routledge technical dict. has to say:
ELEK: test bed, KERNTECH: test stand, MASCHINEN: test bed, test bench, MECHAN: test bed, QUAL: testing bed, testing bench, WERKPRUEF: test rig
Ernst Woerterbuch der industr. Technik adds:
test(ing) or torque stand/bed/room or trial station
Personally I would use 'test bench' or, since you have so many of
them, 'testing station'.
