German term or phrase: Ratio-Gewinde
This is a method for fitting an attachment to a power tool.
I have found the term "Ratio thread". Is this standard EN ? What does it look like ?

Older ones come with a key for tightening.Newer ones are keyless

It\'s inside the front of the power tool and if you look inside(where the attachment would be inserted) and if you turn the whole forepart clockwise(keyless), or
if you insert the key supplied by the manufacturers of the older models into a key insert on the outside of the forepart and turn that clockwise,you will be able
to see,in the aperture where the attachment would be inserted,a 3 point clamp which closes.This holds the attachment securely and centers it.

    My power tools have keyless chucks
