In a patent relating to plastic tubing: Kunststoffschutzrohr ... bestehen normalerweise aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff, in dem ein Rohrstrang aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff extrudiert, in noch plastischem zustand in einer mitwandernden Form an deren entsprechend profilierte Wandung angeschmiegt, abgekühlt und spater aufgeschnitten wird.
