Vollformgiessen is casting into a mould which is then lost. It is also called full mould casting.

Die Herstellung großerWerkstücke und Einzelanfertigungen erfolgt auch im sog.V ollform-
Gießverfahren.D as aus Schaumstoff gefertigte Modell (verlorenes Modell) wird nicht aus der Form entnommen.Es verbleibt in der Form und vergast während des Gieß Vorgangs.

So lost foam casting is definately OK

Vor dem Abguß muß die Form mit einem Eingußsystem und einem oder mehreren Speisern versehen werden. Die Speiser haben die Aufgabe, beim Erstarren entstehende Hohlräume (Lunker) mit flüssigem Werkstoff zu versorgen.
• für alle Metalle
• Keine Gewichtsbeschränkung
• Einzelteile, kleine Serien, evtl.Serienfertigung
• Toleranz 1...2 %
• keine Grate, Formschrägen, etc
