loxierte aluminium profile

anodized
Explanation:
aluminium is usually "eloxiert" but I would not classify "loxiert" as a mere
typo.
ref. Eurodicautom for eloxiert =
anodized.
You would find this treatment a lot in shower stalls and the likes.

Thanks. It's reassuring when your colleagues agree that the source-text is poorly written! I'll have to buy the client a spell- (and grammar-)checker :-)

neutral  Charlotte Blank: eloxiert comes from "elektrisch oxydiert", so loxiert does not give any sense

Explanation:
I don't have a doubt about this - it's a typo. Loxiert, Loxieren, Loxierung? There is no such word in German. So it must be a typo. Given the context I can't think of anything else but eloxiert.

Other possible typos - luxiert, laxiert, toxiert - don't make sense at all in this context.
