niederflur Explanation: the only information i got in Eurodicautom is that "niederflur" translates "kneel bus" but i fail to see what it means,i'll look for further information |

kneeling vehicle / low platform technology Explanation: Ernst gives "low platform" for Niederflur. The buses equipped with this technology are called "kneeling buses" and, I suppose, a streetcar would be called a "kneeling streetcar".
