re-stocking Explanation: This is merely a suggestion; I didn't find anything in SAP's knowledge warehouse to back this up. (But then again, neither did I find anything on dekommissionieren/Dekommissionierung in their knowledge warehouse). From my own experience with SAP texts, I know that kommissionieren refers to picking materials for a manufacturing process (for instance). Thus dekommissionieren, i.e. putting the materials back into the warehouse, could be translated as re-stocking. Hope this helps a bit... |

see detail Explanation: Although I admit that I don't know the SAP jargon, it certainly will not be 'decommissioning', which means 'putting out of service'. A google search yields (among a lot of other things) a SAP Online Help site (first ref), and from this one could conclude that Kommissionieren is (at least related to) 'goods issue' and that the opposite of this is 'return delivery (see second ref). 'Picking' is probably somewhat informal, and who knows what the informal term for the opposite of this is. Good luck! Reference: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_45b/helpdata/en/search/frameset.... further comment Explanation: I'd be careful with 're-stocking', since this is commonly used to mean replenishing stock. 'Return to stock' is less ambiguous, but I don'tt know if this is the proper jargon. |

decommissioning Explanation: It is quite simple, the word and meaning of this word is the same in both the languages, the only difference being the spelling, i.e., 'k' personal |
