"partielle Heissluftverzinnung; Staerke"

Sorry, that's all I've got. Comes under the heading of "Aussenlagen-Zinnauftrag" in a technical specification document about some sort of electrical device (not quite sure what).

Is there such a thing as "hot-air tinning"? I did get one hit for this phrase, but wasn't terribly convinced by it. TIA for your help.

Level. This solder protects the
copper circuits from
corrosion/oxidation, and provides a
solderable surface for the customer's
assembly process. The HASL is
placed on the panel by immersing in
a molten solder and then blowing
hot air over the panel.
