German term or phrase: eichfaehig
As in:
X 66 ist die eichfaehige Ausfuehrung in der X-Familie.

This means that it is the version capable of meeting the standards set down by the Weights and Measures Office, but is there a way of expressing this without resorting to clumsy paraphrasing?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

trade-approved or Weights and Measures approved
Explanation:
X 66 is the trade-approved version in the X product range

From experience in the weighing field, I'm sure this term refers to the fact that a scale can be used for trade purposes. In order to do this, it must be trade-approved, or approved by the local Weights and Measures authority.

Hope this helps!
