sampling tube / sampling line Explanation: Probe = sample Schlauch = tube, tubing hose. The explanation given before is essentially correct. Only one remark : hose is usually used for a relatively large diameter tubing. Unless the analytical instrument (gaz detection monitor) is consuming a large quantity of sample, which is doubtfull, the sample intake line should be a piece of 1/4 or 1/8 inch tubing (either stainless steel or plastic like pvc, ptfe, pet, etc...) 25 years of analytical instrumentation |
