Tech/Engineering
German term or phrase: Zahnriemen Diktator
This word appears in a list of replacement parts for PU-Kabinen, Reinigungskabine, and Absaughauben.

At one point in the text reference is made to Die Verschiebung der Segmente erfolgt durch einen Elektromotor mit Zahnriementrieb.

Is it possible that Zahnriementrieb and Zahnriemen Diktator are the same?

And if this "Diktator" should indeed be transated as "dictator" how am I supposed to understand this?

There are also a couple other obscure references to this word Diktator in the text. One is: "Dokumentation von Diktator" and another is: "Steuerung Diktator." Unfortunately, each one appears in a list.

Thanks a lot for all your help, as always!

Explanation:
could this be a governor? A device for limiting the speed of something, like a steam engine or some such.

See the link.

Without context, purely a guess.

agree  John Jory: Quite possible, as the 'Dokumentation von Diktator' is not good German. Also the 'Zahnriementrieb' instead of ..antrieb is suspect.

agree  Elke Fehling: yes, just had something like that in a manual translated from Japanese to English to German

agree  Rolf Bueskens: Could it be a company name (however unfortunate)?
