stripped parts/ends/terminals Explanation: depends whether insulation is stripped at the end of the cable...(which is usually done) the cable's insulation is stripped and parts whose insulation is stripped are fitted/coated with a conducting layer or metal coat http://www.patentcribsheet.com/Cases/crystal.html Manufacturers insulate the cable using laminated foils or by weaving a flexible wire braiding around the individual masses of wires (bulk cable). The insulation, or shielding, provides protection from electromagnetic and radio frequency interference that can disrupt data transmission. http://www.jadecorp.com/jarch_cablestr.html I came across a similar phrase during one of my translations good luck experience (and see above) |
