referring to UF(Urea-formaldehyde) resins for example which are used in the manufacture of chipboard for furniture.It may , although cured release small quantities of formaldehyde which is a possible carcinogen , over a period of time.There may well be other sustances such as wood preservatives or varnishes with similar properties.
