German term or phrase: Fließboden
In this case 'Fließboden' refers to a type of floor in a truck.
Eine Bodenverschleißplatte der Stärke 4 mm oder ein Fließboden wird bei dieser Ausführung vom Fahrzeugbauer gestellt.
For loading and unloading materials efficiently (especially heavy granular or sticky materials), non-abrasive plastic panels are used in truck beds, rail cars, ship loading chutes, etc.
Typically these panels are made of ultra-high molecular weight (UHMW) polyethylene (see www.polyhisolidur.com/quicksilver.htm). However, since the material is not specified in your original document, "low-friction liner" should be a safe and sufficiently general term.

Thanks for your help. I found it difficult to choose from all the answers as I don't know what term is commonly used in English. However 'low-friction liner' sounded most likely to me.

It would be helpful to know more of the context for this term. Ernst defines as synonymous with "weicher Grund (Bau)" or "soft ground."
