As to the English term, it might be that the exact job doesn't exist as such. So I chose "surgery nurse", as being any kind of assistant in clinical surgery, because a surgery nurse also prepares the patient, which includes bedding (German: "Lagerung"). "Bedding nurse" sounds odd...
