See below Explanation: Schutzklasse can be translated numerous ways: class of protection, class or safety class. In such context I would say: "Class 2 ...", as in Class I transformers which would be Transformator der Schutzklasse I. |

Class II Explanation: Just as an additional note - I do quite a bit of work in the field of medial (surgical) lasers, and the English (US) originals always use Roman numerals for the designation of the laser class, whereas the German designation is always in Arabic numerals. |
