German term or phrase: nach Eignungsprüfung
Höchstzugkraft in beiden Hauptkraftrichtungen nach Eignungsprüfung mindestens 40 kN/m.
Sorry folks, I'm not doing well today (there may be more to come). Same document as the rest. What I actually want to know is: is this "after" or "in accordance with" (or possibly something else)? How would you phrase this sentence in English?
I thank you for your time and patience.
in accordance with/as determined by the qualification/performance test [specifications]
(1) in accordance with ...test specifications or (2) as determined by the ... test (in other words, actual test results). _after_ seems much less likely: it doesn't seem logical that a preceding test would affect the amount of force required after the test.
Eignungsprüfung: performance test
(Siemens, FWB Energie- und Automatisierungstechnik, ISBN 3 8009 4118 X).
Eignungsprüfung: qualification test
(Ernst: W. der industriellen Technik,3 87097 145 2 -- etc.)
All the best, Tom
