Explanation:
While Ernst does list "power engineering" as a viable translation, this could azlso include steam power, nuclear power etc. The context is clearly to electrical engineering (Starkstrom = high voltage).

Illuminbation is possible, but (IMO) lighting is better, because it includes the the hardware, while illumination could be misunderstood as only the "giving of light".
