Ame I correct in assuming a typo with "Aschlussgummis" and is the a more elegeant way with dealing with this than
"... elastic at the ends of their socks"?

Sorry - forgot to put translation ...it\'s hot here too! ;-)
I\'d re-word it to something like:
\"Suitable for people who cannot wear restrictive elasticated socks\". (Often people with circulation problems, diabetes, etc).
