I am assuming that your sentence refers to the sales generated by brokers or agents vs. directly (i.e., via the internet, direct sales force, etc.). If this is the case, I feel quite sure about my translation (of course you could substitute "brokers" or "agents" for "travel agencies" - depending on who it actually is).
The point of the discussion is, Goldcoaster's translation does sound better because it is succinct. I just wondered whether it expresses exactly the same. In other words, I am wondering whether "broker sales" could be misunderstood to be sales achieved by brokers' businesses (overall - each selling travel products for several companies - which would be MORE than the sales achieved for this particular company). Hope I'm making myself clear this time :-) |
