German to English translations [PRO] Marketing - Tourism & Travel
German term or phrase:Wandelpfad
description of a hotel
"Wandelpfade fhren durch den herrlich blhenden...Garten"
I wish we knew how wide this path is. Can you "wandeln" on your own (I think you can) so a narrow one would be fine, or do you need a wide path where two people can walk together? In this case there might be a case for an expression using "promenade", although I must say this conjures up to my mind a very wide, flat and paved path such as on the sea-front ,which "wandeln" doesn't necessarily.

meandering paths / pathways
Explanation: As these paths lead through a garden full of blossoming flowers, my guess is that the hotel visitors are being encouraged use the path to admire the garden rather than to get from A to B. Where "Wandel" refers to "change", I am assuming that the paths are not straight and therefore meander - which also hints at slow movement - would fit.
