German term or phrase: Diplomatenschalter
Hotel butler service: "... sorgt der Butler vor Ort für einen reibungslosen und entspannten Ablauf der Einreiseformalitäten. Dank Abfertigung am Diplomatenschalter gehört Schlangestehen der Vergangenheit an."

Diplomats' desk doesn't seem to be a standard expression in English. Perhaps someone has seen such a desk / office at an airport...?

English translation:diplomatic counter
Explanation:
From the moment the plane landed and I stepped out onto the runway to find someone waiting to whisk me through the diplomatic counter at the airport, I knew this was not going to be an ordinary visit, after all my host was the President of the Republic.

VIP desk

Explanation:
VIP desk would be a suggestion, providing services to "priority" guests.

Notes to answerer
Asker: The desk or counter is an official one in the airport, not in the hotel. Therefore I don't think that VIP is suitable.

agree  Sarah Appleby: If the desk is definitely within the hotel.

agree  Inge Luus: Agree - if the desk is in a hotel.

neutral  Ramey Rieger: I understood it to be at an airport? But it would fit there, too!

agree  dkfmmuc: Just want to agree. A term which reflects the even higher priority than at the usual "fast track" or "fast channel".

I didn't find a special name for the desk - I would go with Jeux de Mots if that were the case - but there are "special services" for VIP treatment at JFK and LAX

priority service

Explanation:
I don't really like 'priority desk/counter/office', but maybe 'priority service desk' or 'priority service' might work.

agree  Helen Shiner: With 'fast track', though not 'counter'. Perhaps 'service'? Don't think we need to describe the desk, more what is on offer there.

-> Thank you, Helen. You're right service would sound better... I just copied and pasted the words as they are used at the airports......
