from a list of general terms and cinditions for the hire of event premises:

"Der Mieter ist zur strikten Beachtung aller gesetzlichen Vorschriften, insbesondere der ....... und wirtschaftspolizeilichen Bestimmungen verpflichtet

NOTE: this is SWISS "Wirtschaft" and does not refer to economics etc.!

In Switzerland you need a special licence (or did) to be able to run a pub/restaurant etc.
What would we call this in English?

or perhaps it should be referred to as the 'Commercial Code', as in:
Both hotels and restaurants are governed by Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code as far as the services they render. The express and implied warranties apply to both hotel rooms and food items served in restaurants. But most of the law governing hospitality stems from case law. See Commercial law for more information about Article 2 of the U.C.C.
