Die Hersteller bauten über die Jahre ungesunde Überkapazitäten auf und drückten sie mit Abverkäufen und Paketstaffeln auf die Höfe der immer größer werdenden Handelsbetriebe. Gewaltige Mietflotten entstanden. Die Finanzkrise gab den Ausschlag – ist aber nicht der eigentliche Grund – für ein großes Händlersterben, eine gewaltige Verschlankung der Industrie und einen Paradigmenwechsel im Marketing: Weg von einem Markt, der mit billigen, sofort verfügbaren Modellen zugemüllt ist, hin zu einem Angebotsmarkt, bei dem sich das bessere Produkt durchsetzt und erst auf Bestellung produziert wird. |
