German term or phrase: Anfahrfolge
Hello all,

This is used in my Logistics documentation to describe the order in which the different reloading points/customers on a delivery route ("tour" in this case) are visited. At the moment I'm using "approach sequence" but i made it up. ;-) Anyone have a "proper" term?

Thanks very much!

call sequence
Explanation:
A visit is commonly referred to as a 'call' in transport logistics world. I also thought about 'itinerary', but it googles poorly in this context.

Sample ref (quite a few relevant hits -- google logistics + "call sequence"):

Vehicle scheduling and routing online : logixcentral: about ...
... online software) based on a wealth of experience in logistics consulting. ... This may also involve optimisation of call sequence but not optimising ...

Thanks very much everyone! This one Googles best for BE, so I decided to go with it. I'm using calling point for Anfahrstelle. You're right, Cilian, "route" is what this company uses for "Strecke". Manuela, tour scheduling is what we're using for scheduling multiple tours within a day/week. Thank you for the suggestions, though!

stop sequence

Explanation:
would be the US term (we don't 'call on' people either, and I don't think it might be misunderstood a '(phone) call'

I googled for "stop sequence" tour logistics

route

Explanation:
eine bessere Anfahrfolge berechnen = to find/calculate a better route

though it seems you're already using "route" for sth. else.
