German term or phrase: pauschale Entfernungskilometer
Hello all,

"X [software] arbeitet also nicht auf Basis von pauschalen Entfernungskilometern, welche die Einzelheiten des Straßennetzes nur durch prozentuale Auf- oder Abschläge zu nähern versuchen."

Does anyone know what to call the "pauschale Entfernungskilometern" in English?

Thanks very much!

broadly-calculated/ rough distances in kilometres/kilometers
Explanation:
"pauschal" is tricky but I think it means something along these lines ... this will get the ball rolling and maybe someone can come up with a precisetranslation of "pauschal" in this context ... going out on a bit of a limb with this one .....

Hello! I used "approximate distances", although I could imagine that "rough" distances or even "estimated distances" would have worked too. Thanks very much!
