Das Mehrweg-Transportssystem wird den Lieferanten kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt, gemäß Vorgaben mit Rohlingen befüllt und zu xxxxx transportiert. Damit die Endprodukte im Hause xxxx just-in-time hergestellt werden können, müssen die Rohlinge zur Weiterbearbeitung ständig verfügbar sein. Nach Veredelung der Rohlinge werden diese ebenso wie die in Behältern angelieferten Zukaufteile im Automatik-Lager zwischengepuffert und zur Montage wieder heraus befördert.

Explanation:
The large Langensheidt gives "blanks" and "rough forgings". However in my experience of the metal-working industries, Rihling can be any semi-finished product.

from the little context and not sure what the end product is going to be, I would suggest this term which could fit a lot of things...
raw material i.e. for paper making etc.
