THE ORIGINAL SPARE PART RE-DEFINED
New eu regulations re-define original spare parts, with the quality of parts being decisive. Apart from original parts, there is a new term: ‘spare parts of corresponding quality’, whose quality is at least equivalent to the components used in the factory assembly of the relevant vehicle. Mekonomen supplies spare parts, 85 per cent of which are original spare parts that are supplied by the same plants that supply the car industry. Mekonomen has accreditation from these suppliers guaranteeing product quality pursuant to the guidelines of the new eu regulations.
