GLOSSARY ENTRY (DERIVED FROM QUESTION BELOW)
German term or phrase:
Freigabe, Sperrung und Wiederfreigabe von Lieferanten
English translation:
approval, suspension/blocking and reinstatement of suppliers
Hard to assign the points this time, because both of you helped me a lot.
For "Sperrung" I finally opted for "suspension", since there were a lot of hits for "suspended suppliers" and my text also mentioned "New Business Hold".
"Blocking" is the term used by SAP (http://www.easymarketplace.de/transactions-m-de.php - http://www.easymarketplace.de/transactions-m.php)
Note: SAP uses "vendor" for "Kreditor", and so did I (vs. "supplier" for "Lieferant")
Thanks to everyone. 3 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer
Even though my name did not show up above, I submitted those replies :)

AKA = also known as
From a company standpoint, Sperrung means they will not be used, so does disqualified.
Vendor vs. supplier: I do not know about Kudoz. In the USA, I think they are equivalent. It would be an interesting question to pose.
1. What does "AKA qualified" stand for?
2. "disqualification" is nice but is not as strict as "Sperrung"...
3. Has the subject "vendor vs. supplier" already been discussed on Kudoz? ;-)

qualification, disqualification and requalification (or reinstatement) of vendors {suppliers}
Explanation: In the USA, we have approved vendors, AKA qualified vendors, and the opposite, disqualified vendors.
