German to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Transport / Transportation / Shipping / rail transport | | German term or phrase: Reexpedition | Please can someone help me out with this?
Here is the context:
Eine Reexpedition/Neuaufgabe der Sendungen ist in XXX zugelassen. / ist nicht zugelassen
I understand this as saying that the 'forwarding on' and 'Neuaufgabe' of consignments is permitted or not permitted.
Does 'Neuaufgabe' refer to some kind of sub-contracting?
Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance! |
| | | reexpedition/forwarding/sending on | Explanation: "...you could profit from a registration number in London with reexpedition of all mail from this address..."

reexpedition - sending on, forwarding
Neuaufgabe mit Frachtbriefen - issuing with railwaybills
www.astrade.sk
Reexpedition refers to forwarding a consignment, whereas Neuaufgabe seems to indicate sending a consignment again.
