Science - Transport / Transportation / Shipping / Dry Ice Shipment
German term or phrase: lebensmittelrechtlich zugelassen und deklarationsfrei

More about the shipment of dry ice. This is a description of CO² gas - of course, dry ice is carbon dioxide in a solid state. I can't make head or tail of "lebensmittelrechtlich zugelassen und deklarationsfrei" and can't find a translation for either "lebensmittelrechtlich zugelassen" or "deklarationsfrei" anywhere. TIA for your help.
