as opposed to:

Compartment car (separated into cabins which open to corridor along the side of the car)

So, no cabins, no compartments, just an open car with a center aisle and seats to each side in a long row.

free seating / open seating

Explanation:
Your context, is referring to the trains in Russia which require a ticket with a pre-booked seat. If a train is fully-booked you are not allowed to board it.

So in your case it would be a train without free or open seating.

"For certain trains - long distance, high-speed trains - seat reservations are compulsory and must be made prior to boarding the train." excerpt from advice on train travel in Eastern Europe

From a GUIDE TO RUSSIA
"Except for suburban trains, all train tickets require a seat reservation. If the train is fully booked, you may not board it. ."

non-reservable or unreserved

Explanation:
Reservierungspflicht translates as "reservations are compulsory" into BE; I would write "there are no unreserved (long-distance)trains". Okay, so it's boiling cabbages twice - but that is after all what it says...
"There is no unreserved accommodation (available) on..." would be another variation.
