German to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Transport / Transportation / Shipping / coach construction | | German term or phrase: Kipperbrücke | Still on my presentation for this transport company.
This is a potted history of the company, so I haven't got a lot of context, just a list of dates and events.
1936 Erster Reisecar mit auswechselbarer Kipperbrücke.
This is a Swiss company, by the way. I assume it's a coach, not a rail carriage, but the rest of the company's business is to do with tankers and bulk transporters. It does go on to say thay they pulled out of the tourism business in 1973.
I just can't quite picture a tilting body on a coach, but then this is not really my field.
Any suggestions very welcome!
Many thanks |
