Two items on the list which refer to a NOTFANGKLAMMER call it a "safety device", which seems rather lacking to me (cf. NOTFANGKETTE - FALL ARRESTER CHAIN, NOTFANGKONSOLE KT - EMERGENCY STOP BRACKET HB), and the remainder (e.g. NOTFANGKLAMMER,LACKIERTE, NOTFANGRIPPE) have been left blank in English. So I presume there is a more specialised term than simply "safety device".

agree  Ken Cox: Probably as good as you can do with the minimal context. The only ghit aside from the asker's questions is the patent cited in your answer, which relates to maglev trains and may or may not be relevant in the asker's context.
