German term or phrase: schwierige Fahrwege
...ein neu entwickeltes Straßenbahndrehgestell
präsentieren, dass speziell für schwierige Fahrwege

here's my stab at translating '...dass speziell für schwierige Fahrwege.'

---that is specifically for heavy track systems

Fahrwege is translated as 'track system' of dict.leo.org. My problem is with 'schwierige.'

This is more a direct translation. With 'heavy' replacing 'schweirige'

that is specifically for heavy rail track systems

difficult / critical roads/streets
Explanation:
The specific reference is to the ......neu entwickeltes Straßenbahndrehgestell...and its purpose...see USE below:
The axle spring adjuster for the rubber and metal springs sets the spring mountings prior to the wheel set installation. A centering device (6) to simulate the axle springs both sides of the wheel set aligns the spring mountings (4), each simulation to form left and right hand, dumbbell-shaped parts (6a,b) held together by a holder (5). The two parts are rigidly joined by a connecting beam (7) to which is joined a girdle (8) at right angles over the axle drive. The latter is lined up by an adjustable centering device (9) in the bottom part of the girder level with the axle drive output flange (2a).

USE/ADVANTAGE - For tramway cars etc., with imposed adjustment of sprung masses. ...designed for tight bends, especially on steeply inclined road/city streets...i.e. difficult....etc

neutral  hazmatgerman: Wäre für Fahrwege hier nicht track besser! Schienengebunden fährt doch nicht auf der "Straße", oder wird das generell in einen Topf geworfen?
