The conditional apporval provided for "detour train movements necessitated by catastrophic occurence such as derailment, flood, fire or hurricane" on certain listetd UP territories configured with automatic cab signals (ACS) or automatic train stop (ATS).

Thanks Veronika, no I would not recommend "signalled" because normally there are also other ways to influence detours (see links and refs) - and "signalled" has a much broader meaning that these other ways are no longer clearly distinguished. If you don´t like "dependent" you could also say "signal-controlled". Best wishes!
