| | self-storage (space/facility) | Explanation: What is self storage space?
Self storage is essentially a means of hiring a safe, secure room to store goods such as house contents, workshop tools and company documents, or even to use as a small business warehouse. It can only be accessed by the person or persons hiring the room. No-one else has a key and the site is fully alarmed and covered by 24-hour CCTV and a barrier control system for added security.

@ Spud Murphy:
Just saw your comment in the "Notes to answerer" box under Anne-Mette's answer. If "self-storage / private lock-ups sound rather small scale, the company concerned have over 17,000 sq.m of open plan facilities", then
"large scale self storage facility" would fit the bill, hopefully? |

| Reference: Denmark
Reference information: As far as I can tell, the term "Lagerhotel" is actually used most frequently in Denmark, either to refer to "warehousing" as a service or concept, or to "warehouse" for the actual building itself. Perhaps "Lagerhotel" just sounds a bit grander than "Lagerhaus" or "Lagerhalle", etc. I don't think you can improve on warehousing in English, unless you say something like "warehousing facilities", "warehousing centre", "warehouse/warehousing logistics", "logistics warehouse", etc. but that probably doesn't add much.
After finding mainly Danish sites, I found this good explanation in German:
Mit rund 50 Mitarbeitern betreibt Quick-Pack ein „Lagerhotel“. „Allen Komfort für die Fracht“, kommentiert John Maj diese für Dänemark typische Bezeichnung eines modernen Lager-, Kommissions- und Distributionszentrums.
http://www.scandlines.de/de/cargo/service/orders/files/fb_02...
Some Danish examples:
Cargo Syd A/S Lagerhotel
Welcome to Cargo Syd A/S warehousing centre.
http://www.cargo-syd.dk/
Lager og Lagerhotel (Danish)
Lager und Lagerhotel
Storage and warehousing
http://www.dtk.dk/de/lager-und-lagerhotel
The others are correct about self-storage - according to this glossary, "Lagerhotel" is another term for "Mietlager".

However, it doesn't seem that this is what is referred to in your case. I don't think a haulage company would generally provide self-storage facilities and, if it did, they wouldn't be open-plan.
