I have "a rubber-metal spring loaded under pressure", but I have a suspicion there's a technical term for this kind of a spring.

The context is:

Die wichtigste Änderung liegt in der Primärfederung, die durch eine Schwingarm-Konstruktion, verbunden mit einer unter Druck belasteten Gummi+ Metall-Feder, ersetzt wurde.

I think "unter Druck belastet" in the context of springs should be translated with "compression" rather than "pressure". With these springs there are compression and shear load taken into consideration.
