"Für den Betrieb des Verdampferdruckaufbaus ist ein Bodenanschluss erforderlich."

In a discussion of the use of gaseous fuels (e.g. LNG) by ships (for inland shipping). To me, this sounds like "a floor connection is needed for operation of the pressure build-up in the evaporator", but that doesn't seem to make much sense, and is probably FAR too literal!
