I notice this word is already in the glossary, but I am somehow not comfortable with waiver customer/client.

It appears as a single sentence under the section of Versicherung.

Sie zeichnen als Verzichtskunde.

Then it simply goes on to write about separate insurance for occasional transport needs etc.
