German term or phrase:Entpannen
I have this wonderful word of many in a list. I am sure that it is some sort of cancel / reset function, but am not 100% sure
from "Panne". With cars, that means "breakdown", but with its usage for IT I am not familiar. "Ent-", of course, to undo whatever makes for the problem.

Abgesehen davon, dass es sich um eine sehr ungewöhnliche Wortschöpfung handelte, hieße es wirklich "Entpannen", wird aus dem Kontext, den Du später noch gibst, klar, dass es sich um einen Schreibfehler für "entspannen" handelt (CL5). Die Feder wird entspannt.

Ergänzung: "Entpannen" scheint es in der Schweiz allerdings wirklich zu geben (vgl. dépannage?).
