However, this would only be for a set route. If the GA offers unlimited travel, then a 'rail pass' would also be understood. However, in the UK, the preference is for 'card' over 'pass'. See Railcard here: http://www.railcard.co.uk/

Season tickets are available on all transport networks throughout the UK, including buses. However, from your description, Railcard seems the closest equivalent.
The former British Rail used to issue 'passes' to its employees and their families as a perk. To me, the word sounds like something that is given free of charge rather than a purchasable commodity.

It appears that there is after all such a thing as a Britrail Pass:

This seems to be marketed at visitors to the country.

Went with Railcard because it's a UK term. The other answer is just as appropriate, only that it just doesn't seem to work for a UK readership. Not sure about Season Ticket. Thanks guys.

Notes to answerer
Asker: As per http://www.railsaver.co.uk/railcard-vs-railpass.html, the Season Ticket is a London Area-only ticket? The GA is for all of Switzerland? RailCard might be correct though, cf. that webpage.

Rail pass / Rail passes

Explanation:
http://tickets.amtrak.com/itd/amtrak/selectpass

Siehe Link Nr. 1.
