Explanation:
A while ago I asked the same question (link below). Indeed, I asked for translation from Bulgarian into English, but in Bulgaria we actually use the German word 'as is', and AFAIK having the same meaning. Seems the answers I got contain all alternatives, and the references are good IMO. The different English versions seem to have slight variations in meaning - sorry, I'm not proficient enough in legal matters to dwell on that, hence the confidence level... anyway, I guess the links will be helpful.

  -> Thanks, Irina :) I still think it depends on the context. In my case, I chose 'procurator', as it was just a mention of s.o.'s duty/job, in a general text.
