German term or phrase: ist frei Haus des ...
My understanding is that the prices are based on the wine producer paying for shipping. Can someone recommend a nice business-English phrase for "ist frei Haus des ..."?

Die Preiserstellung ist frei Haus des Weinproduzenten.

carriage paid
Explanation:
The price is (to be) quoted carriage paid as far as wine producer.

Why not say: price quoted is carriage paid wine producer/Am. shipped post paid wine producer/ and leave the preposition out altogether. That way the ambiguity is retained, though the syntax illogically suggests it\'s to - rather than from - the wine-producer\'s premises.

Mea culpa. Now I see how important it would have been to add that the product in question is corks that are being shipped to wine producers. Thus 'producer' was misleading. Thanks everyone.

carriage paid home?

Explanation:
After reading all these postings, you must be totally confused - I know I am. I would say talk to the customer, pointing out the nonsense. When on British Rail, I was in charge of the tariff department handling wine imports, and terms were ALWAYS "carriage paid home" to the importer's address, NOT THE PRODUCER'S.

If it were from the producer\'s premises, the terms would be \"carriage UNPAID\", or \"ex producer\'s premises\" (at....).
